NI (the DLL heart of adding stuff to the character menus) is stone age at this point. XPMSSE 4.3X had issues with the broken chargen programs.
That question makes sense, but it seems you have no idea what bodyslide is or does. The "Program Files (x86)" folder is where steam would be installed by default, I simply created an identical folder on another hard drive and installed it there. The reason the path is foreign to you is because I have it installed on a different hard drive, my data hard drive. It doesn't work for anything-even vanilla armors.
Its not a mod that uses bodyslide, it's bodyslide itself. Was that Mod even ported correctly?Īnd in what order are you loading it? Whos on first, whats on second, that's all we can see. I think you have ignored all the rules right from the start.
You called it BodySlide which says nothing, which Mod, there must be a hundred BodySlide mods out there.Īnd why do you have it installed in a Windows Program Files folder and the folder Windows reserved for 32 bit programs at that. Originally posted by DPMR:Well you talked a lot, but didn't say anything but a Mod won't work. To try the draconian solution, I uninstalled all my mods, reinstalled Skyrim SE, then reinstalled my mods and the problem persists! I have no idea what is wrong anymore, bodyslide just refuses to work, even though it was just working less than a week ago.
Another tidbit of information that could be relevant is that I recently (like this week recently) installed XP32 Maximum Skeleton and quickly uninstalled it because even with the compatibility patch it broke joy of perspective. Obviously this is not the path to the default skeleton as shown above, but it still doesn't work. I reinstalled Bodyslide and this is the path it generated for the reference skeleton:ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\res Bodyslide worked literally a week ago and all of a sudden it doesn't. I'm almost convinced it was a mod I installed, that attempted to change the reference skeleton, that caused this issue. I tried switching the reference skeleton between 1 and 0-still nothing. Regardless, I tried building an outfit with these settings and nothing happened. I am still unsure of what femalebody_0/1.nif to use as I'm not knowledgeable enough to know the difference. This however, is the address I changed it to after I checked it first and noticed it was incorrect. In Fallout 4 I have bodyslide working just fine, but In SSE I can't get it to work.My problem is similar to this post (), so I looked at the path for the game data and this is what was there:ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Īnd next I looked at the path for the reference skeleton which was:ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\femalebody_1.nif
